Slugger’s Big Apple Sangria with Helen Wan

1 bottle of Pinot Grigio or other white wine
1 red delicious apple, sliced thin
½ bottle of brut champagne or sparkling wine, chilled

Pour white wine into a large pitcher and stir in apples. Place in the refrigerator and let sit for 2 hours up to 24 hours. Add champagne/sparkling wine, stir and serve.
