6 oz unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
1/3 cup red wine
1 cup milk
2/3 cup water
dash of salt, more for the rim of the glass
liquid Stevia, to taste (we used 4-5 drops)
chocolate covered spoon for serving (optional)
Bring chocolate and wine to a simmer in a 1 qt saucepan over low heat. Cook, whisking until melted about 3 minutes. Add water, milk, liquid Stevia and salt. Bring to a boil and cook while whisking 3 minutes more. Wet the rim of the Mason jars with water and dip the rims into a dish of salt.
Pour into 2 mugs and serve with chocolate covered spoon.
Makes 2 drinks.
