Congratulations on making it to session eleven of this course! By now you have in-depth knowledge of the primary social networking websites for writers and other entrepreneurs.

The web moves fast, and who knows where we’ll be in six months’ time? It’s a fascinating time in history, despite the challenges presented to those of us used to pre-internet business models.

Remember that, in the first instance, if you are marketing your own writing, when deciding where to put your energy, you are your own demographic. That means if a website appeals to you, and you find yourself drawn to spending time on it, it’s likely a good place for you to maintain a presence because your interests will align naturally.

If you are working on behalf of a client, determine their demographic. Who is their core customer? Then go to the websites used by those people and establish your client’s presence.

Going forward: don’t be scared to set fantastic goals for your writing. If you could wave a magic wand, what would be your heart’s desire? Do you want to be best-selling writer? All our best-selling authors were once unpublished or unknown – why not you? Whatever you need to move you forward in your journey is available to you if you’re willing to look for it.
